Another Success Story: Local Record Co. Owner Loses 50 Pounds with M Team Fitness

Brian Ray was 235 pounds when his wife bought him a month’s worth of training with Troy Schultz and M Team Fitness.  “I was not happy,” Brian said.  “I thought I could do it on my own."

Since his wife had already paid for it, he jumped in and saw results very quickly.  “It had been twenty years of trying to eat better and I had never stuck with anything.”  Within a couple of weeks Brian lost weight and felt much better under Troy’s tutelage.

In about seven months, Brian’s weight was down to 190 pounds and now he’s pushing 180.  “I’m really excited,” he said, his family also having joined in Troy’s training sessions.  “I am enjoying Troy’s philosophy about eating differently.  His philosophy is, ‘If God made it, eat it,’ and to cut out processed food.  I found that most foods that I ate were empty, with no real nutrition.  At the end of the day what counted and what mattered?  I started eating zero wasted foods.   The difference is two pieces of bread versus a banana and an apple.  The hardest change was switching from salty foods to fruits and vegetables and cutting all the false flavors out.”

During those months, Troy came out to Brian’s house to train him for three, one hour sessions per week.  Brian owns a recording company called Metro One where he works with Gospel artists and, most recently, an Indie Film called “Treasure State” filmed here in Montana.  Troy brought a “Rocky” style of training to Brian and his family using his long driveway to do lunges and plyometric movements, using garage rafters for pullups, joking about pulling logs with chains.

Brian’s wife and fifteen year old daughter (who just recorded her first album as a singer/songwriter) saw the improvement in Brian and started training with Troy as a group about 6 months into his progression with Troy.  Brian, as the cook of the household said, “I started cooking differently and they saw results right away.”

Brian and family are excited to get into Troy’s M Team Fitness studio now open in Kalispell.  The facility is located at 60 Commons Way in Kalispell.

Hard-Hitting Child Trafficking Documentary and Ministry Team in Kalispell After Nation-Wide Tour

Nefarious, Merchant of Souls, is a hard-hitting documentary that exposes the disturbing trends in modern sex slavery. From the very first scene, Nefarious ushers you into the nightmare of sex slavery that hundreds of thousands experience daily. The film shows where slaves are sold (often in developed, affluent countries), where they work, and where they are confined. It shows first-hand interviews with real victims and traffickers, along with expert analysis from international humanitarian leaders.

The screening took place at Headwaters Ministries in Whitefish last Thursday at 7 pm. Windie Jo Fischer organized the event, totally free to the public. “God has given me a burden for this issue,” she said. “The biggest thing is that awareness is such key factor. America is so far behind in acknowledging this issue.”

She pointed out, “A hundred thousand to three hundred thousand U.S. minors are being trafficked… there are only a hundred beds for rescue workers. Through awareness we can become knowledgeable on how to pray and what to pray for… we can combat this darkness through prayer and change the atmosphere of what’s going on.”

“It was a fluke how we got this documentary to come to Kalispell,” she said. The Nefarious documentary and screening comes with a ministry team. Windie called the organization, who only visits major market areas, and they called her back and agreed to stop in Kalispell on their way home from their nation-wide tour. Luke Dowler performed his “Silence is Shameful” track, which was written for child trafficking awareness.

The Flathead Abolitionist Movement published a 5 page report on local occurrences including bogus modeling gigs, the recent Valentines kidnapping and parents selling their kids for drugs. Windie is the founder and director of Just One Love Ministries. Stay tuned with her on Facebook at www.facebook.com/windiejo.
